For ten years, EXPO JSC is specializing in designing and manufacturing high-quality bulk-oil equipment for heating up and (un)loading oil products (from) into railroad tanks and fuel trucks, as well as river and sea tankers and barges, both top and bottom models being available. The ten-year experience and Services the results achieved allow us to say that today the enterprise is one of the leading manufactures, in Russia and other CIS countries, of bulk-oil equipment for (un)loading oil products.

The Company Background

EXPO Company was established in 1992 as a private company. Sergey Matveyev and his companions leased some premises Contacts from Spetsstroymekhanizatsiya-2 enterprise, founded EXPO Ltd. Partnership and commenced their activities.

In the first stage of its development, the Company was engaged in repairing hydraulic pumps for road-building and logging machinery and manufacturing technological equipment and accessories. Some 25 people worked for the Company at that moment. It was the time of enthusiasm and collectivism. Various trends of further development were under investigation and a market place was being searched for.

In 1993 based on the above activity findings, the Company made the decision to start producing plants for bottom (un)loading oil products (from) into railroad tank-cars. Having taken some premises on lease from Komsomolsk-na-Amure Experimental Mechanical Factory (EMZ), EXPO Company bought metal-cutting and other necessary equipment and produced their first product in September of 1994.

In 1996 the enterprise mastered a new trend in its activities, namely the production of high-pressure hoses for road-building and other machines. At that moment the management took a decision not to just produce hoses but to become a leader in their production on the territory of Russia as far as the Urals. The Company's hoses have been working very well in hydraulic systems of road-building, construction, logging and other machines, both home-made and imported ones, as well as in mining and material-handling equipment.

The Company continued growing. From 1996 to 1999, the number of its employees increased to 100 people. The Company was producing high-pressure hoses for road-building and logging machines and plants for (un)loading oil products (from) into railroad tanks (USN). Around 1000 USNs were sold to the purchasers all over Russia. The Company's technological equipment has been well performing at timber companies, Komsomolsk-na-Amure Bus Fleet and Heating Systems Enterprises, Khabarovskenergo JSC and other enterprises.

Today's EXPO Company features the following:

Our Highlights

Being in the ever-lasting search and striving for innovations, EXPO Company is constantly developing the existing products and mastering their new types, such as plants with steam shirts and hydromonitors for unloading viscous oil products, heat exchangers, plants for top (un)loading of oil products (from) into railroad tanks, river type installations for loading tanks.

EXPO JSC plants are well performing under various climatic conditions: from the city of Arkhangelsk to Astana in Khazakhstan and from the city of Pskov and Mozyr' in Byelorussia to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy.
A lot of orders to manufacture technological equipment for Khabarovsk Kray enterprises have been fulfilled.

The 1998 operation results ranked the Company among the best ten small enterprises of Khabarovsk Kray and its Director Sergey Matveyev became a prize winner in the Businessman of the Year competition and was also awarded a special prize "For Introduction of the Latest Technologies" by the Far-Eastern Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Based on the 1999 and 2000 operation results, Belgium EMRC nominated EXPO Company to be awarded EuroMarketForum-99 prize.

EXPO Company employees have done a great job to produce competitive products meeting the world standards. At the seminar conducted by American specialists in Komsomolsk-na-Amure, EXPO Company business plan won the first place and its developer was sent to the USA for further training.

EXPO JSC latest engineering developments are trestles for loading railroad and truck tanks and oil product depots overall accounting and automation systems.

EXPO Company perfectly understands the importance of the complex approach to providing oil and gas enterprises with high-quality equipment and that is why the Company not only constantly upgrades its own products, but also tries its best to FULLY meet the customers' ever-growing requirements. Nowadays the Company collaborates with research and designing institutes and organizations all over Russia and offers a wide variety of products and services, namely:

  • expeditious delivery of licensed for warming up and (un)loading oil products, a lot of models having no counterparts produced in Russia and other CIS countries;
